Will We Ever?
Will we ever again be able...
- to read the lips of the couple sitting opposite us on the bus?
- to share a mate with pals on the beach, in the office, at the park?
- to queue up for ages to listen to our band and join in the electronic waves of that oceanic rave?
- to kiss that person we have just met and exchanged just first names?
- to visit our oldies cause we are no longer atomic bombs?
- to hug and kiss one another at the birthday party, wedding, or prom?
- to watch herds of screams running out of classrooms into noisy breaks?
- to use the elbow just to rest after a meal or wake up our travelling mate?
- to turn on the tv and see no longer numbers growing of those who will grow no longer?
Will we?
Ever?
Again?
When? (For God's sake!)
