Pushing ahead
Bones in
pain as if broken
Yet
plucking up forces feeding on hope.
Veins
convulsed, invaded by the intruder.
Freeway for
good to win over bad.
Tasteless
tongue, sweetsalty undistinguished,
Upset
stomach, dissatisfied, weak
Yet longing
to eat, eat, eat.
Dreams
haunted by hospital sounds
Yet dreams
blooming and ready to sprout.
The wheel
is turning, slowly but firm,
Clinging to
science, poems and faith.
The way has
been hard but never lonely.
Stony but
never hopeless.
Painful but
forever holding hands,
Pushing
ahead,
Looking
afar.
